2006 Pacifico Reel in the Party Sweepstakes
OFFICIAL RULES
1. ELIGIBILITY; NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. Sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia who are 21 years of age or older as of February 1, 2006. Void in California and where prohibited by law. Employees of The Gambrinus Company ("Sponsor"), Creative Link Agency and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, dealers, distributors, retailers, advertising, production agencies, and members of their immediate families are not eligible. Sweepstakes begins on February 1, 2006 at 12:01 AM and ends on November 1, 2006 at 11:59 PM. All times in this contest refer to Eastern Time. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER.
2. TO ENTER. To enter, complete a website entry form at www.pacificoclara.com. Limit of one (1) entry per person or email address. On-line entry form will require your name, address, telephone number, email address, age, and other information. Multiple entries received by any person or email address thereafter will void all such additional entries. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete or corrupted are void and will not be accepted. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. All online entries must be received before 11:59 PM on November 1,2006 to be eligible for the drawing. You may also enter by completing an official entry form and depositing it in the sweepstakes display or on a plain 3" X 5" card, hand print your full name, age, phone number, address, city, state and zip code and mail to Door Direct, 4441 Center Gate, San Antonio, Texas 78217. All mail entries must be received by November 1, 2006, to be eligible for the drawing. Mechanically reproduced entries will not be honored. Not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible or postage-due mailings.
3. WEB RESTRICTIONS. All Web entrants must have a valid e-mail address. Sponsor reserves, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend this sweepstakes should virus, fraud, bugs, or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the sweepstakes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for computer system, hardware, software or program malfunction or other errors, failures, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the "authorized account holder" person in whose name the e-mail account is registered, provided that person meets all eligibility criteria set forth in the Eligibility section of these Official Rules. "Authorized Holder" shall mean the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
4. SELECTION OF WINNER AND CONDITIONS. Winner will be selected on or before December 1, 2006 in a random drawing conducted under the supervision of Door Direct, whose decisions are final and binding. Winner will be notified by mail at the address they provided. Winner will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility within 7 days of notification or an alternate winner will be selected. Winner and winner's travel companion will be required to execute a Liability/Publicity Release (except where prohibited). If any prize notification is undeliverable, or in the event of non-compliance with any of these requirements, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries.
5. PRIZES/ODDS. Grand Prize. One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive two (2) airline tickets to anywhere in the Continental U.S. good for travel anytime in the year 2007. Grand Prize winner will be drawn from all eligible entries received (void in CA and where prohibited by law). Travel must commence and conclude during the year 2007. Flight times and airline carriers will be determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Approximate Retail Value of the Grand Prize trip is $2,000. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. Odds of winning a prize will be determined by the number of valid entries received. Approximately 250,000 entry forms will be distributed. Entry is also available on-line at www.pacificoclara.com.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION/PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. Winners will be notified by U.S. mail and will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release within 7 days of notification. If prize notification letter is returned as undeliverable, the corresponding prize will be awarded to another winner. Failure to return affidavit will result in the prize being awarded to an alternate winner. Except at Sponsor's discretion, no cash redemptions, substitutes, or transfer of prizes allowed. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All taxes and other expenses, costs or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The Pacifico Reel in the Party Sweepstakes trip must be taken during 2007 or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use winner's name, city, state, likeness and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation.
7. By entering the Pacifico Reel in the Party Sweepstakes, participants agree to release and hold harmless The Gambrinus Company, Creative Link Agency and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, distributors, affiliates, divisions, advertising and promotional agencies, wholesalers, retailers, and any Internet access providers, and each of their respective officers, directors, shareholders and employees, from and against any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, costs or expenses of any kind, including without limitation, personal injury or property damage, arising from or in connection with participation in and/or entry into this sweepstakes, or acceptance or use of any prize or any related travel and/or activities. By participating in the Pacifico Reel in the Party Sweepstakes you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and all decisions by The Gambrinus Company, whose decisions are final.
